Hola ya'll!
Well, it seems like NOBODY is using this thing anymore, so I just thought I'd go ahead and post SOMETHING! Not that I have much to say, but I almost feel sorry for LJ now! Stupid Myspace, the evil conqueror, of which I am also addicted! ;)
Right now I'm sitting at work doing OT. Yes, I know, must be nice to be able to write on LJ while at work, and I totally agree! There are just some things about my job which rock, but I still can't wait to get out of it. I'm sooooo tired of helping people over the phones on such simple (at least to me) technical issues and having to pretend I actually care about their problems. Don't get me wrong, I can empathize, but that doesn't mean I really care to help them. I am just tired of having to explain to people how to use their stuff over and over because they are just too ignorant than to take the time to figure it out for themselves. Plus, I'd much rather move on to doing something else. I guess I just don't see it happening anytime soon that I'll move on to something else. I can't seem to figure out how to both push myself harder and get that break that I desperately need. I think I just need to change 2 things about myself: my laziness and my lack of self esteem. They hold me back WAY more than I would like.... GRRRR! ;)
So we're now in 2007. OK.
Oh yah, big news. "Snakes on a Plane" has been released on DVD!!!!!!!! Ok now, don't everyone rush out and cause mass hysteria flooding the stores with baseball bats and hacksaws trying to get the last copy. Remember, in the end the snakes didn't win, and neither will you! In the end, we shall all get a chance to buy the greatest adventure of all time to watch the great Samuel L. Jackson kick snack butt! Woot! ;)
OK, so my co-worker found this story online about a woman who was so fat that she got stuck in the entrance to some cave, trapping 23 people inside the cave for a day or 2! I think that's just CRAZY! For one, I'm sure that lady is uber embarassed now, so I do feel sorry to her for what happened. At the same time, couldn't she kinda TELL that it was going to be a tight fit? I don't know about you, but I'd be a little hesitant than to try to SQUEEZE around in a cave if it looked like the entrance alone was going to be a little difficult to go through. I'm not trying to sound insensitive, but it just seems like that was kinda dumb on her part. I mean, I can't see myself getting THAT far into it before realizing I'd most likely get stuck, and I'm hoping I would stop myself before getting to that point! Oh well. Just hope this doesn't hurt her too bad or make her feel too bad about herself. It might be good if it helps her try to trim down a bit, for her own health, but not if it destroys her will to live or something!
Well, this will be it for now.... I'd say considering how much I post on here, this is MORE than enough for a comeback! ;) And I'm doing more than a lot of people right now it would seem. Hope to see ya'll post soon, and hope ya'll reply to me! Come on, let's not let the LJ die!!!! :)
