The machines all lie!
Hey ya'll!
I figured it's been quite a while since I've really updated on here, so now I'm gonna totally annoy and bore ya'll with the latest in the happenings of the life of the super stud I call me! ;) So here goes....
First on the agenda: changes. I have recently moved to San Marcos, TX, and while I miss my roommates in Seguin, I'm starting to really enjoy living alone again. I am enjoying the simple pleasures of living alone again: farting loudly upon entering my apartment, eating food naked in the living room, putting my "unmentionables" wherever the crap I want to, a full fridge space, and most importantly, free reign of the TV (of course, I have barely used it since I moved in!). In addition to the bonus of living alone, I also love the location, as I am now within walking distance of my job, meaning I will save a LOT on gas! Woot! There are some negatives to the move, however. Like I said, I miss my roommates, and it will suck a bit that I won't see them quite as often. Also, my rent has increased CONSIDERABLY... almost doubling what I was paying before, which doesn't make up for the extra savings on gas quite enough. I've also still gotta unpack, which is a major project in the works for the near future, and the storage space in my bathroom totally sucks (see: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=14000133). All in all though, it's nice to have a change, and I'm enjoying it thus far. Speaking of the new place, I'm planning on having a party there on August 15th, for those who may be interested in coming.... hope to see ya'll there!
Another change: new friends and possibilities. Since the move I have actually started seeing a friend of mine whom I gained from back in the days at West. We've been hanging out, flirting, and overall just having a good ol' time, and she's been a added bonus to my life. Her name is Karen, and if you want to see who I'm talking about, just simply see the link posted above. Who knows what might happen in the future with her and I, but for now I'm really enjoying spending time with her. We are not officially "going out" as of now, but I'm excited for the possibilities of where our relationship may be heading. In addition, through her I'm reconnecting with a few friends from back in the day at TLU. It's a small world it seems, as even though I met her and them at different times in my life, it turns out that she has begun gaming with them on the weekends, and I'll be joining them soon as well. I look forward to seeing Steve and Bill yet again! Woot! :)
The lying machines!!! Yah, I went to get a soda from the machine here at work, and I felt like something other than simply coke or dr. pepper. I noticed that there was a button for "Minute Maid Orange Soda", and that sounded yummy, so I pushed it. Imagine my surprise and HORROR when out of the machine came a "Fanta Orange Soda"!!! Holy freakin' crap! AHHHH!!! Yah, I don't really like Fanta as much as Minute Maid, so I was quite upset. I think if they are gonna put a soda in there that is in ANY way different from what the button says, they should change the freakin' button!!! OK, I'm learning to cope and I'm calming down slowly, but the Fanta-flavored saliva in my mouth may send me down a crazed frenzy again at any moment!!!! ;)
