No worries, everyone is ok

Please see title above. Thank you :)

H'Ok. So yesterday I got home from work and was looking forward to changing into some comfy clothes and getting cozy with Harry Potter (book 5) when the phone rings. My mother picks it up and proceeds to learn that my brother is in the E.R.

Now, no panicking, the kid is A-Ok. The dork was playing frisbee down at CCY and made a dive and sliced his knee open on a nearby protruding rock. He's got 5 stitches on it that will be out within the week and then all back to normal. The only negative is that two Saturdays from now is when he puts on his final camp performance thing and since he IS at musical theater camp, he will be needing to dance, which he can't do for the next week. Bummer.

But the stitching went fine; in fact, the worst part was when RK got jabbed in the knee with the needle full of anesthetics. It was actually kinda funny because my mom knew everything that was going on because she used to work at the hospital in Middletown and because one of the counselors was there with Ry from camp. He was this nice, flamboyant, funny guy named Alex who started talking Broadway with my mom and the two of them had a right ol' time. Funny stuff. AND, the PA that tied Ry back together lives in Glastonbury on the same street as Tom Volgenau and Drew Goodwin. Small world, huh?

So yea, that was my adventure yesterday. Then I got home, cleaned the house, made some dinner and hung out at the fountain/zaremba's house which was good times. Also good times - singing Disney tunes in the middle of the street at 1230 at night. Summer is fun.

And for those of you who don't know, I will be departing this Sunday for upstate NY to "intern" at an archeological dig at Fort Edwards. The program goes on for two weeks, but I will be back Friday night for Saturday and a little bit of Sunday so that I can see Ry's CCY show.

Right-o, that's about all the news in my life as of now. Good times, all around. This is Dan Kelley, signing out
