(no subject)
It's amazing how beautiful rain can be. I'm sitting here sopping wet after walking all the way across campus in the pouring rain. And when I say pouring, I mean, my campus is completely flooded, it has been raining so much in the past couple hours!
Anyways, I while walking I was struck with the amazing wonder of rain. Seriously. Here's what I get out of rain:
-it falls on you and wakes you up in the early morning when you are tired (kinda superficial, but fun anyway)
-it creates fascinating patterns on the ground in puddles, or in the ripples in puddles, or when it snakes across the sidewalk in a little river
-the musical drops of sounds that pitter patter as water drips down off the roof into the puddles on the ground
Isn't nature great?
I'm such a pagan...bring on the nature worship!
