Kate wrote about her amazing Monday. I must admit, although I felt exhausted the whole day it ended up being quite a fine day. I, after two very brief moments awake, woke up around 10 in the morning. I sat in my bed on my computer doing random things until about 11. Then I got ready and went to lunch with Sarah and Sherif. I was pleasently, albeit shockingly, surprised by the warmth and sun which was such a huge change from yesterday. I emerged looking a bit like a mole with my eyes half closed for the walk to the dining hall but so be it. After a small meal of a slice of pizza, half a peanut butter sandwich and an apple I returned to my room to get ready for my abnormal psych class. I was delayed though by an e-mail with this weekends show entries. I am riding BOTH days in intermediate! Amazing and yet terrifying! I basically slept through class not really caring what she was saying about Freud or Ainsworth knowing that I could probably get by just fine on our exam on Wednesday with the previous knowledge I have of them. Then was physics. Boring as usual. We had a very brief firedrill half way through class. It didn't even last 5 minutes! I also noticed while we were waiting outside that the weather was starting to look like rain. Sure enough after class was over it started a light misting. A minute away from the building it began to have a torrential down pour. Sarah and I tried our best to get to the barn as fast as we could because we were hardly prepared for percipitation. I was wearing a short sleeved shirt and vest and she was wearing a thin coat. We arrived at the barn drenched like a drowned rat and the rain immediately stopped. We decided it was God's way of having fun for the day. Riding lesson was ok. My horse had two big bucking fits but I stayed on this time! The one buck was HUGE!!!! Any buck on a 17 hand horse is big but he made it extra just for fun. I lived and Patte repeatedly thanked me for not falling off. I am not sure if it was because she really cared about my well being or because it would potentially mean less points this weekend but I will give her the benefit of the doubt and go with the first thought. Hehe. Then I said goodbye to my boyfriend and Sarah and I drove Mike to the train station. On the way back she insisted that we get Smoothie King even though we were both still pretty damp and I was shivering. Regardless it is hard to pass down a smoothie. We got back to the dorm after stopping and saying hi to a bunch of people and sat around watched tv for a while. Then we went to dinner...blah. After dinner we sat down to do Physics homework. Which is what I just finished doing. Now it is time for me to curl up into my fabulously comfortable bed and go to sleep.
All in all I say it was a pretty wonderful day.
