Abby Isabelle Knox -- 20 inches long, 7 pounds, 1.9 ounces, born at 10:09 a.m. on January 3, 2004. My brother and his wife had their baby this morning. The neat thing is that she and my sister's daughter are exactly eight weeks apart. Playmates.

NO! It does NOT make me want to have one :)

Is she Abby but not Abigail? That's cool because I think Abigail can be so puritanically stuffy. Congrats!

But I LIKE Abigail better, although I'd probably still choose to call her Abby. I think Abigail Isabelle sounds better with out last name than does Abbie Isabelle, but hey, it's not my kid--nor my name. So you and your anti-puritanically stuffiness win again :)

I have indeed returned to the East Coast, and I will be driving up to D.C. Saturday morning--weather permitting--so that I can see my neice again and attend a Patriots playoff party Saturday night in Burke. If you're available Saturday morning/afternoon, it would be cool to hang out.
