I just chopped at least six inches off my head. Well, it was actually my hair. And technically, my hairdresser cut it. But I authorized the decision. I dragged a co-worker over there as my model, and then I refused to look until she was finished. When I opened my eyes, I saw one thing: my twin sister Amy.

Oh well, at least I'm now beautiful.

That's some funky stuff you've done there. Like a nightmare where I'm tripping and you peel your face off into one of the two above pics just before I realize you're a zombie and then you kill me and eat me.

If I were an alien, I'd ask out either of those faces for sure.

But I have to tell you, that top pic, that's the sexiest looking alien I've ever seen. Got a little bit of Jason in the face, but what the heck. Probably a good trait in alien relationships.

Well, I've always been a fan of long hair but hair always grows back. Think of this as a new start, new beginnings, or at least a thought process into them.

Your new hair looks cute! I like it.

I've heard that many women hide their insecurities behind long hair. Interestingly enough, the number one thing that women do upon their divorces is to chop off their hair--significant others like the long hair better than the women themselves do. I've been told I'm too old to wear long hair, but I think I like it better long--although this break is nice--and I've always wanted to be one of those "older" ladies with long hair--with a wicked white streak running right through the middle. I think I'm actually the reverse--I kowtow to my insecurities when I lop it off each January. I'm working on that white streak, so by next September when it's as long as the top picture again, maybe I'll actually have that exotic streak!
