i now have a cut on my index finger from skating last night, and more importantly a cut on my thumb and a stab wound in my palm. the latter came from a fondue stick that was doing its job of melting marshmellows on sterno fire in the middle of pristine snow. and then... it started to hate me and stabbed me. i just discovered the cut on the thumb, but since i have watched essentially the entire 1st season of csi in the last 2 weeks, i figured out that from the direction of the piercing and the bruising around them in my palm, the stick had to come in a downward angle. therefore, the cut on the thumb must have come from the same motion.
oh well, sometimes you have to sacrifice to have the good things in life, right? and s'mores are most definitely the good stuff of this life.
