Returning to work tomorrow ..
yeah, I didn't make it back to work at the beginning of the month. After 3 visits to the only daycare we could get into I was in tears ready to quit work. It was horrible.
I went on a nanny hunt (OMG it is expensive) and started my desperate calling regime again. I was able to take more FMLA time off from work, unpaid of course. My boss suggested I look for part time care, meaning I could come back part time for awhile. What a wonderful boss I have! I found part time at Bright Horizons in the Wizards of the Coast building in Renton and they are great! We'll be there for a month and a couple weeks. Then a full time spot is opening up in the Bright Horizon care facility in PSE's main office in Bellevue. My boss is going to let me work out of Bellevue for awhile, not sure how long. Expensive (not as much as a nanny) and worth it for the piece of mind of having a WAY better daycare provider.
