TATM: What was it like working with Anton [Yelchin] and Jennifer [Lawrence]; they’re part of the new generation of actors.
FOSTER: It was fantastic, so fun to see their passion and how excited they are about it. They are very different, they approach scenes very differently. Jennifer is a two take girl, she’s incredibly prepared and when you give her a note. She does exactly that and accomplishes all the other notes in those two takes. You get these two golden moments with her, super focused. Anton is so smart…his mind is so all over the place that he wants 30 takes, and he wants to do them all differently. He writes tons of memos and he has all these crazy ideas. It’s just fun to see two young people that work in such different ways. They had a great time together. I think one of the most fun moments was in their scene in the car together. I was on the camera car outside with headphones on just listening to them, the stupid things that they said to each other all night long. [LAUGHTER] It was fun.
