(no subject)
I've sucked on the posting front. What else is new? It's sad I read lj pretty consistenly, ie at least once a day. And at times I attempt to catch up on my friends list from my phone. Damm Breastfeeding community eats my pages up.
I've been caught up in one of those roller coaster couple weeks of things are good GOOD then things are bad BAD SO FUCKING BAD.
B'h things in those around me have started to shift. Which helps everyone's moods'
I <3 the situation of where I'm working. Ie the support staff are actual people. I almost smacked one of the teachers today. but the paras were like 'we all want to do that'
I wish I had another student. My paycheck for September after taxes, I had less than $5 left after my health insurance was deducted from my account. sigh
I've seen my pediatrician twice in the course of two mondays. I <3 my ped, I don't need to be there every fucking monday morning. Are you listening Nechama? Last week she had croup. THis week was a yeasty diaper rash.
And we all have colds, stomach viruses and sinus infections in our house. We can't fucking win.
I did a mitzvah yesterday. Monday. I'm so not into self promotion. But whatever. My dad's gf's kids triplet b'nai mitzvah is this shabbos. She ordered Kippah srugah(with the kids names inside) from a website based in brooklyn, as well as doilies(ugh), and one of the tallit.
They had told her to pay for expedited shipping. The middle of last week they charged her card. She called Monday am, to ask ie for a tracking number. They told her to call back in an hour. She called back, they didn't have a number 'but she'd have it tommorrow' so she called me, as she was dealing with Boro Park and she wasn't sure how to proceed.
Oh and my dad called up as her lawyer and got no where. So I said call them back let them know someone is coming in from SI(yes I no it's not a big schlep but still) and they would be there by 2pm.
So I figured my way around boro park. Damm streets that end randomly and buses hiss. No street parking pull into their driveway.
Now they were saying that they were shipping it monday. And they knew someone was coming to pick it up. When I got there is when they organized the order. now I don't care that it wasn't in a box. But once I was standing there was when they went to find a bag an 'Oh nuts!' bag lol. To me that screams unprofessional.
