Pesach [Passover] started last night. The whole family went over to Debbie's house and did sedar there. We didn't finish, however I didn't expect to either. I don't think I've seriously been to a sedar that's really finished since the last Synagog sedar my family and I went to. Strange actually, but really, who expects anyone to want to read more after they eat everything, especially jews? Doesn't make sense in my head, but eh.
School gets off on Friday for 'Good Friday' this week. I've already complained to my luching partners and most of my world history about it, but it's the world we live in, and that's just how it is. The good thing about getting off on Friday is that I get to spend time with Michael, which has been lacking lately. I am very much looking forward to it ^ ^
Ricky also has a possibility of being there too, not for the date, but at his house since his parents are going out of town for a wedding I think. Their friend Micah is back in town for the weekend, so those two are happy as all get out.
I don't think there's a sedar planned for tonight, however my father said something about making egg drop soup... which doesn't sound as palatable as from say a chinese restaruant, but I'm willing to try anything as I will officially be eating nothing less than: carrots, cucumber, strawberries, mushrooms, potatoes in many shapes and forms, chicken, possible some other type of meat, and cardboard [aka matza]. What joy.
cheers,
sarah
