When I finally got home last night, I got out of my car and just stood in my driveway looking at the Blue Moon. It's quiet where I live...few lights, even fewer cars. If it wasn't overcast the land would have been lit up with star light. As I gazed at the moon (a blue moon only happens every 4 or 5 years i hear) clouds raced in front of it, creating a spectacular effect. While it was mentioned to me that it would have been better if it had been a clear night, I could appreciate what nature had done. For although it was overcast and the clouds did their best to block my view, the moon still shone through it all without even trying, it was just that powerful. It seemed as if a giant eye were looking down on me for some reason. With the racing clouds, that eye now appeared to be peering through currents, such as an aquarium, or as if school of fish were darting by. As I walked inside it was still there, and when I went up to my room I could still see it out of my window, and when I eventually fell asleep, I caught one last glimsp of it. Nothing could stop that glow, it was always there, unwavering. Hopefully that will be a simile to a special circumstance in my life right now. It seemed to have been a perfect ending to a perfect evening. (Well, except for certain someone who finds me to be a challenge, and therefore will not give up trying to seduce me...I swear, I hope one of these times when she tries to hug me, she misses and falls down several flights of stairs. Ha, and people have told me I can't take a hint...)
