Dry County are a self-proclaimed Indie / Electronica quartet hailing from Dublin, describing their sounds as "programmed beats with a carefully arranged band sound; guitars, keyboards, bass, vocals and occasionally live drums are added to the mix." Influences range from New Order to Animal Collective, Björk to Broken Spindles.

The band have released several EPs, the 'Nothing Stays in Place' mini album was released by Lazybird in 2004, but sold out and was reissued this year. More recent gigs included a slot at the Electric picnic and a Waterford date supporting God is an Astronaut. They have just come back from a hugely successful gig in Berlin as part of the Popkomm festival.

When Pilots Eject are a Bangor based 6 piece whos distinct melding of down tempo electronics and avant-rock instrumentation has seen them become one of the most interesting bands on the local scene, side stepping any current retro fads by creating something warm and melodic filtered through laptop drones and controlled bursts of distortion.

The last few years has seen WPE produce three E.P.s of original music, Pilots, Combat Stance and this years Schofield. Alongside their own headline shows in The Empire, The Menagerie and Auntie Annies W.P.E. have also appeared at Moving on Music's BANG 03 festival and Blueprint event in the Limelight, as well as appearing as special guests of Tracer AMC at their album launch event this summer.

Three Tales recently made their debut live performance at BelFest 2005. Under various other monikers, however, the band can boast sessions with BBC Radio 1, and live slots across the country. Their sound has been likened to The Palace Brothers and Smog, with more than the odd foray into sheer angular noise.
