Steve got a birthday present from my mother, yesterday that was nearly a month late. Not bad considering my mother. It had the best card: a cartoon character on the front shrugging its shoulders while standing near the mailbox says, "There's a good reason this birthday card is late. I bought it late, I signed it late, and I mailed it late." Inside it says, "Best reason I could think of."
In the box she had muffins and mail telling me I have a check at my old job that I never picked up, for $30. If I don't write to them and claim it they'll give it to the State of Iowa Treasury as a present. Hey $30 is $30.
School is going, I got mild bronchitis for the first time and it's decided to add a bad cold on top of it so I feel like my head is going to explode all the time, makes it hard to study.
Have you ever watched Six Feet Under on HBO? Steve got me hooked on it. It's more of a safisticated soap opera/drama like Buffy but for adults instead of teens.
