16 Random Facts
Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 16 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 16 people to be tagged. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.
I am boring. So meh.
1.) I hard a hard time just picking up a book and reading it. I have to be in a mood. I tend to read things slowly, often putting them off for months at a time. If someone pushes me to read it (like for school), even if I want to read it, I often won't just because. This goes for fics too.
2.) I can't play any sort of video game what so ever. I prefer to just watch other people play. I didn't grow up with any sort of game system so I never developed the skills.
3.) I have a strong fear of ghosts. Almost like Noa's fear of zombies. Sometimes I am convinced our apartment building is haunted.
4.) I can't do ANYTHING when there are other people around. Such as cleaning, exercising, basic chores.... I get self concious. So even though I know I need to clean the bathroom, I refuse to do it if there are people around. ....This makes for a difficult time when there are four people in an apartment.
5.) I am terrified of most insects. Even more so with spiders. If I saw a spider in a certain place, I will avoid that area for weeks before I go there again unless the spider has been removed or killed. I will actually get near hysterics if there is a large spider or roach.
6.) I am completely different in person than I am online. In person, I tend not to talk much, be shy, defensive, and overly sarcastic. I feel bad about this....
7.) I never get involved in fandoms. I just don't get it. The wank goes right over my head. So I tend to miss out and not understand a lot of what people rant about with certain fads or things. (I have never been to 4chan, never will.)
8.) I tend to get attached to the most random of characters that no one else likes or notices. (g1 Shockwave had no lover for years).
9.) I have no desire to visit Europe, Japan, or any other country. Sure, I think it'd be fun, but I also think it would be utterly stressful and more hassle than it's worth.
10.) I miss playing an instrument. I wasn't really good and I never practiced. But it was still therapeutic.... This is another thing I cannot do with other people around. I want a REAL piano key bored, but I know I would never touch it as long as there are other people around.
11.) I am VERY pissy and touchy about being corrected on my spelling. If I want to know how something is spelled, I will ask and make an effort to fix it in the future. I know when I am spelling something wrong, and I will often spend a lot of time fussing over it trying to make it right. So if you pop up and go, "YOU SPELLED IT WRONG" I will ignore you and continue to spell it the wrong way just to spite you. This goes back to a lot of hardships in school.
12.) I tend to pick up accents really easily and subconsciously. Sometimes when making calls at work I play with accents just to amuse myself and mess with people.
13.) I HATE my job. But I've made really good friends with a few of the people I work with. If they ever left, I think I would be utterly miserable. It's depressing to think that I have no 'after this' plan. At times I wonder if this job is where I'll be for years and years to come.
14.) The fact that I have no insurance pisses me off to no end. My glasses are four years old. I cannot see. at all. I haven't been to the dentist in two years. And I'm almost out of my meds. Working for an insurance company only aggravates the problem because I know how the system works and how broken it is.
15.) I don't understand or like politics and I don't read or watch the news. Everything I know about it I get from Noa.
16.) I hate alcohol. If I can smell or taste the alcohol I can't drink it. It smells like piss. Even if it's got other flavors, I just can't stand it. Unless you can completely cover up the smell and taste of the alcohol, I won't touch it. I just don't get the appeal of it.
