CON RECAP!
Sakura Con 2008. While it wasn't so much win for the actual CON, I must say that the company blew the con out of the water.
It was wonderful to see everyone again, though I'm sad to say I didn't spend nearly enough time with Mish, Pat, Jade, and people. T_T
Being a host to company always makes me nervous and I always feel like a terrible host. I come from an old fashioned family so meh...
Germans! I love you guys! OMG I will never get through all the music you gave me! I'm organizing it onto my computer and such and I've not even made a dent in it! To give you an idea, I listened to Batman and Silent Hill and Shrek all night! D: I think it's safe to say I won't have to buy music for a VERY long time! <3
Rami! It was awesome seeing you again! Who knows, maybe sometime in the future, if you are still into the lovely hobby and art of the pretty Loli, maybe I can convince Noa to be the Loli Pimp or something and I'll do prince? (I like the hats)XD
I'm glad that Kuro found her Cosette and that you guys got to experience the win that is Value Village. Next time we will make it a point to go visit the Space Needle and at least eat the ice cream up there.
I also want to thank the two mysterious people that I spent Sunday with! We had an awesome time and the crack will live on forever! ("I went to Seattle and I got was this fucking fugly dog!") Kuro, you are a mad woman with the coin games. I know who I'm taking with me to Vegas if I ever go!
Got some excellent shopping done but I spent entirely too much. I was pleased that I mostly got what I wanted out of those stupid mystery boxes though. Noa is a good guesser. Now I just need to spend a day organizing.
Figures that Seattle would snow and get cold. It was SUPPOSED to be 60. And of course it was sunny on Monday as I drove Kuro and Vegi to the airport. They stole the sun though because once they left it snowed again. D:
Miss you guys and I hope you all had a good time and aren't terribly disappointed in anything. For the short amount of time that you were all here, we did manage to accomplish a lot!
Vegi has all the pictures so he'll post them when he gets them.
I missed the cosplay, but it was REALLY nice to just relax and walk around and not worry about something falling apart or getting harassed or what not.
Who knows when the next con will be that we go to. This year is pretty much off limits.... T_T
