I may not have ADD, but i sure feel like it
packing for both college and pennsic is so difficult. i suck at packing anyway due to my complete lack of organization and ability to think ahead, not to mention by inability to NOT take things. packrats do NOT make good packers. whenever i remember something i should bring i i can't hold it in my mind long enough to find somewhere to write it down. i'm better at just getting it and throwing it in a bin, but there are some things we don't have that i know i've forgotten to record....ack....
we can't find the lantern (and speaking of ADD, i totally forgot to finish this sentence the first time around) and so many things are jsut a tad too long for the bins. i still haven't sewn anything else today...what am i waiting for? i don't know.
i have quite a few bog dresses - i need to alter one though...must remember.... - and a couple viking dresses and a new underdress....that leaves pants and one or two tunics and either another underdress/shirt or chemise...are women allowed to wear pants and tunics? i hope so. also...wrap-around-pants would be comfortable, but i have no idea whether they're acceptable either. oh well. and i suppose it's a little late to try to make a cloak....grr....
but the dumbest things is that i agreed to make...i actually don't know how many...tunics for someone. with what time? i don't know. i've never made a tunic, so i better not mess up. maybe i'll try to make one or two for myself first. but again, time....if the machine would quit breaking every single time i use it i wouldn't be so worried...and i still need to shop for food...i hope ashley got the recipie stuff...ashley, did you get the recipe stuff i sent? ....better remember to pack spices along with snacks...should i bring honey? hmmm
meanwhile i work tomorrow and have to visit my great-aunt that evening..thurs i have no idea if i'm working, and sat is rachel's day of doom. leaving sun morning. cooking THAT NIGHT, woo! i better be goddamn productive friday, and thurs, if i'm able.
