complaint: I NEVER got to be alone with my boyfriends in high school. EVER. (actually, even in college it's hard to have any privacy, but that's beside the point). My sister is going to be a junior and not only has she seen her boyfriend every fucking day this summer, sans out-of-state vacations, (a little overkill in my opinion) but she's allowed to be alone with him. a lot.
granted the whole having-a-basement thing does wonders, but still. i can't help but add this to the list of things i resent about the differences in the way siblings are treated.
