intonation music fest=fantastic
I have a lot of pictures from the fest. It was so f-ing hot out, oh my god. Everyone was just a sweaty mess haha. It was so fun though, and the decemberists put on the best show ever. At the train station i ran into Monica, a girl that i met the summer before, but we didn't realize it until like 15 mins later that we've met each other before, and she was super cool. I wish i wouldn't have taken being there for granted, because i didn't get as many pictures or listened to bands as much as i would have liked because i was too busy trying to find something to drink or shade haha. I missed DFA 1979, which i wanted to see, because we left for diane's. Anyways, This entry will be long...
1st day...
After we got there from the train, we had to wait in the will call line for so long, but it went by faster than i thought it was going to. The line was like 3 blocks long. Monica and her friend katie (or kate?) waited with us after they bought their tickets and then we headed in.
That guy reads poetry for numerous concerts before the show starts. His name is dex and we met him later on. Me and michelle also got an awesome picture with him, and we didn't expect him to be so burnt out haha. There was this one guy that was so annoying and he tried to give huge speeches and change all of our opinions on things and he would ramble on for so long before each set started. At first i thought he was joking, but then i realized he was dead serious haha.

Then andrew bird came on and helped them whistle...
That was really the only people we watched saturday because we had to leave early for diane's party, but that was really the only band i would have wanted to see anyways on saturday.

2nd day...
Ben was able to go until his parents heard we wouldn't be getting home until about 1 or so cus of all of the train riding. Joel wasn't able to go either, but zack still could go. It was even hotter than saturday.

...That was us sitting down for the wrens even though i wanted to watch them, but it was so hot and we were real tired. We watched for a little bit and i got some pictures. We missed les savy fav because we wanted to say close for the decemberists and les savy fav were at a different stage, i wanted to see them too :(. I guess something happened where they were threatening to stop the fest because people were getting 'rowdy'. Something happened Saturday too when broken social scene were playing, but i don't really know. Basically the whole thing was pretty calm and everyone was so nice.

...they started being silly and told us all to sit down so that is a picture of the crowd in the process of sitting down, i tried to get one of behind me because it was so crowded but it didn't turn out.
