[The PDA turns off with a puff of static--someone blowing straight into the microphone?--and then there is a moment of silence. Some rummaging sounds, mostly metal chinking on metal, and then a guitar and set of drums start playing a familiar tune. Then the lyrics start, softly at first and then gradually getting louder until it's a good jamming

Back in the dorm. Checking on things.

[Tony's there in his corner. The junk is more or less organized and out of the way. The IM suit hangs carefully, fully shined, and from it comes the faint beat of another ACDC song through its speakers. He doesn't seem to be working on anything in particular, just staring at the armor. When the door opens his eyes flicker to the form there and he immediately goes into a relaxed, slumped position that looks ready to fall off the tiny chair. His elbow goes for the back of the chair and then he rests his chin in his hand.]

That was quick.

[He tilts the chair back enough to ensure he gets a good view of her face once she makes it clear just how close she insists on standing next to him.]

Something on your mind, Pepper?

[He watches her brush him off and then looks back up at her. He lets the chair flop back solidly on the floor and gets awfully close to said certain areas, but never, ever does he even accidentally brush anywhere near them. His hands reach out to a safe spot on her hips and pushes her back slightly so he can stand without tripping over her.]

Yes, well. The same can be said for silly PAs who don't go running for shelter.

[He smirks down at her.]

No, I guess not. But after? When there was no more employer? You didn't run then either.

[Tony meets the stare the only way he knows how: to stare impassively back. He finally gives the slightest of nods.]

[He doesn't move--whether its from a lack of uncertainty in what to do, how to react, or something else more harsh on his part--he doesn't move. His eyes watch hers though; then her lips; then her eyes. He only reacts once the act is committed, and then it is all natural although in Tony's too-smooth manner.]
