(no subject)
Welp, I guess its time to make it internet official. I mean, I guess it doesn't matter if the internet knows or not. But sometimes you say things and then they don't happen, and you look like an idiot or a liar or like someone who's all talk and no balls. I hate being that person. So I've been trying (rather unsuccessfully) to keep quiet about this until there was some certainty about it. Here it is:
I'll be starting art school at the Academy of Art University in San Fransisco in late June. I don't know what the difference between an Academy and an University is, but apparently this place is both, which must be double the awesome, right? I've been meaning to google and find out what the difference is and how a place can be both, but that would take the mystery out of it.
I'm going in for illustration, but that will probably change to 2d animation, because I love cartoons. In fourish years, if everything goes well (KNOCK ON ALL THE WOOD), I'll have a degree in one or the other. Or maybe something else.
I haven't enrolled, or given them any money yet, so I guess there is still some room for it to fall through. But I'm reasonably certain that this is how its going to go down.
I'm pretty psyched.
