Recapping the last year VIA sentences.

Okay so I'd just like to say that for the past year I've almost been a complete shut in. I gave up my life & my friends for someone else.

It was indeed very worth it.

& I didnt give up on my friends, at least I didnt give up on the friends I care about.
I just, detatched. Not having anything in common with a person will do that to you, I guess.
Alternatively, when people you once thought were moderately decent people turn into scumbags for varying reasons theres another problem.

But it's okay because I realized that life in general is really superficial. You make friends, your friends are supposed to care about you, & everyones supposed to feel good. It seems like people only make friends to either use them or get drunk with them so they dont feel horrible about being drunks. But that's another story. Ranty Mc Rantenstien.

DECEMBER:
"seriously, twitter is so lame. what is the fucking point of this stupid god damned website & how come so many people care?" [ironic how this post was made a week before i decided to be ALL FOR twitter.]

I guess this year I really stopped having anything to say here. The internet did a weird thing this year, even though it's been happening for a long time now, I feel like the internet really did lose some of it's flair. I'd say that this isnt a bad thing, but I'd only be lying. What's the point? For fucks sake the only person I really, truely, would jump in front of a moving bus made out of bullets for is with me almost every day, why in gods name would I legitimately give a fuck about what's going on in a box that shows me pornographic images?

But that's not the real weird thing that the internet did this year, the weird thing the internet did this year was get super popular. It's slowly but surely becoming the new television, not to mention when you think about how many people have internet ready phones that are practically pre-loaded for facebook & twitter it's mind boggling. I mean sure, it's been happening for a while & even my phone is internet ready with a keyboard & blah blahblah blah, but I'd say that's not the point. The point is that everyone is so self obsessed to the point that it took a website that was mainly for college students to be able to look through a directory of other students to find classmates to get everyone using the internet. & it took off, in a giant way [obviously talking about facebook, for the slower reader], status updates, notifications, & even things that are not exclusive to facebook such as links & posts will typically make a person think 'facebook'.

Why though? It's not like it's anything special. It's fucking AOL on a webpage, for real. Theres a messenger, theres email. You have friends who have profiles you can check out, & your friends will post things on a scale of rarely to all the fucking time depending on who you have added. Tell me how this is not exactly like AOL. For real, they might not be calling it a keyword but when you become a fan of something does it not show you a page that's not the artist/creator/whoevers website & is exclusive to facebook?

But I digress, because I can, because I'm on the internet.

But seriously, fuck years, it's a new fuckin decade.

Now taking all bets on celebrity deaths. I'm calling Jack Nicholson & Morgan Freeman, just because I know if it happens Shaydee will merk me. <3
