...against life as a symptom"
I really am rather frustrated right now. I love My Chemical Romance, I really do, but ugh! DO A PROPER TOUR DAMN IT! Not just the three dates you just announced for October. I am SO tempted. SO TEMPTED. But I am unlikely to be able to get the time off work for a second trip to London in the space of a week [My Passion Halloween gig is the week after My Chem]. Plus I shouldn't really be spending the money. I had just about talked myself out of it when I received an email informing me there would be exclusive t-shirts as part of the ticket bundle from UK Undercurrent like with the Valentine's HIM gig.
SO TEMPTED RIGHT NOW
Also slightly annoyed because I was really hoping that my parcels from Top Shop and Miss Selfridge would have arrived today, but NO :[ I want exciting post now! *stamps foot*
I am marginally better from the deadly cold. I went back to work yesterday. I'm still really stuffed up, and have hardly any energy, but I couldn't spend another day at home... I was getting reeeeeeeally bored of sitting around watching dvds.. haha. I surprised myself by wanting to go back to work. I don't hate my job! Not that I really thought I did. I just hate elements of it. It's nearly bloody October, which means it's really not that long until Christmas and I'll have been at Baileys for an entire year!!! *SHOCK* I never thought I'd last this long. I'm in danger of feeling settled o_O
Having said that, there is my back up plan of being a student again [if I can't find a different job - I am still looking]. These are the three courses I'm looking at for going back to uni:
Garden History [MA]Conservation Practice [MSc]Events Management and Music & Media Management [MA hons] I know ultimately it comes down to me, but I was hoping you lovely people might have a look and see what you think? I am pretty divided over which way to go at the moment, and a fresh opinion might be helpful :] Like I said before I think I am leaning towards the MSc... but still liking the sound of the Garden History!
I am currently very much in the land of Harry Potter, as I am re-reading from book one. Just started Prisoner of Azkaban today :] I watched the trailer for Part 1 of the Deathly Hallows the other day, and squealed A LOT. I am SO excited! I really hope it comes out on time this time, though given past history, I somehow doubt it.
And just to finish on a complete randomness, I cooked an awesome tea tonight, of which ALL the vegetables were from our own garden! Boy do my mum and I feel smug, lol. So yes, we had runner beans, potatoes and corn on the cob, all freshly picked! NOM.
