Writer's Block: Infamous
obviously 9/11 was the first thing to pop in my head. taking the good with the bad, 10/4/08, a day real change happened.
i remember with 9/11 i saw the clips before i went to school, i was in 8th grade, and all day the teachers refused to give us any updates. the only one who did anything to keep us informed was a teacher who normally irritated most of us. they werent allowed to show us the news, but he read articles from online, keeping us up with the story.
also the santana shootings. awful. the media was like vultures sitting outside the school for weeks after, filming anyone who would walk in or out. i remember joining in with the annoyed citizens who drove in circles around them, horns honking, telling them to leave.
