Weekend happenings

Things are getting close for the Fiesta next Saturday. Months of planning have gone into this so I hope it all comes out successfully. I might have bit off more than I can chew by asking to do the co-ed wedding shower. A party for 50 is bigger than I have ever hosted before. My nervousness has been quieted though. A week ago I was stressed about it, now with my HP's help, it is gone! YEAH!

I was able to talk to Jim about our fight the other night. I am glad I did not push it aside like the old me would have done. I asked him straight up it if ment the things he said Thursday night. I doubt if he remembered all the details but... I specified the fucking myself part and getting nothing out of our marriage. He was dumbfounded and could not answer much. He asked why I have a problem with him going bowling one night a week. I honestly said I wish he would go more often! It is the coming home drunk and beligerant that I have no tolerance for. Have a drink or two, I really do not care; DO NOT come home and treat me like an asshole! I explained that with my new life, I will not allow someone to treat me that way. I think it shocked him that I was basicly telling him to straighten up or the marrage is over. I will make it with or without him.

I got to introduce Trisha to my mom and sister. We had to go to Yard Birds to get seeds for the Fiesta favors. Trisha gushed over what a wonderful person I am and all. It made me a little uncomfortable since I am attracted to her and we have really done little together. We met at AA and have continued to see eachother only at the store. She has over 5 years but hasnt gone to a meeting in several months. I dont know how she does it. I offered to go with her to a meeting. She said she would meet me last week but never showed.

Plans for Shens's wedding are going perfectly. Yesterday we fine tuned all the last details. The ceremony will take place at Madonna winery and the reception in Sonoma. Beautiful spots! She picked the menu: choice of beef filet, roast pork, linguini w/ prawns and chicken florintien manicotti. YUM!

Better get cracking on my next batch of chores. The weekend goes way too fast! I have to be done in time to enjoy the season finaly of 6' under and entrouge.
