so today, in my first real day of work on CHILD, i've read the intro, chapter 1, and chapters 3-8 of Hillel's book.

i also got keys.

tomorrow i will finish the book, and start working on the interdisciplinarity book.
also tomorrow i want to start the day by looking at the SRCD suggestions and write up some ideas.

also, in my process today, i've come up with a few things i want to read:

Hwang, C. Philip, Lamb, Michael E. & Sigel, Irving E. (Eds.) (1996). Images of childhood. NJ: Lawrence Erlbaum.
Kuczynski, L., Harach, L., & Bernardini, S.C. (1999). Psychology's child meets sociology's child: Agency, influence and power in parent-child relationships. In C.L. Shehan (Ed), Through the eyes of the child: Revisioning children as active agents of family life (pp. 21-52). Stamford, CT: JAI Press.
the Fadiman book (The spirit catches you and you fall down)
Robert Coles, The spiritual lives of children
Beyond Identity Politics
Leonie Sandercock's Mongrel Cities book

look up names of European scholars from Oslo conference that i found interesting
