yesterday and today
yesterday was a very slow work day. i didn't get a whole lot done, but i did get stuff started.
today i have to accelerate, and finish that first chapter. constructing the social world, and the child.
yesterday i started writing about the social world as a violent place. i got just the very beginning of that, and then i went to bed. today i have to finish that, and also write up constructing the social world as a relativist place, and as a place of rights and responsibilities. then i can move on to constructing the child, which i think is largely written, but i just need to write some more, add more, and add what the kids have to say.
i just need to be thoughtful about it all, and recognize that yes, it does take time, and i can move as fast as i can but ultimately i just need to keep plugging at it and do what i can, and make it as good as i can. i can write fast but i can't always think fast, so i just need to work steadily and whatever i can go is great. so. on with it.
