(no subject)
so i am super stressing.
i finally got signed up for health insurance though RIT and now i need to see like every doctor on the face of the planet.
i've made an appointment to see my family doctor, but i couldn't get in until tuesday. but i need to have my sickness checked out because i think its a sinus infection which would mean i need antibiotics. guh. watch come tuesday i'm not even sick anymore.
i need to see a gynecologist ASAP. since i haven't seen my real GYN in a few years, she can't legally prescribe me my birth control anymore. therefore, i need to find one in rochester that i can actually see on a regular basis and i'm super freaked out. i think i'm going to go see megan's doctor because she said it's a woman and the people there are nice and everything, so we'll see. i just need the info from her. the only thing is that i get my period this coming wednesday. so i would have to make the appointment either this monday or tuesday or wait until late in the week after that. like seeing a GYN isn't stressful enough.
i also need to see a new dentist. mine was nailed for insurance fraud, so i don't think i'm going to go there anymore. but my wisdom teeth are coming in and they hurt a lot and even though i'm terrified of getting them taken out, i need to make sure my whole mouth isn't going to get fucked up.
and last but not least, i need to see an eye doctor. i haven't seen the doctor at my mom's in so long that they can't legally give me new contacts with the same prescription without giving me another exam anymore. so if anything happens to this pair of contacts, i am screwed. but i also don't like my eye doctor here, so i need a new one of those too. i'm thinking of just going to lens crafters.
so as if going to see any doctor isn't stressful enough, i have to go see a million of them as soon as i can. AND most of them are going to be ones i've never met before. grrreat.
how do you even go about finding a doctor? i don't even know. where do i start?
anyone have recommendations for any of these? any doctors they really like?
