Today was a beautifully perfect day. The sky was one shade of blue, the clouds another, and the lakes yet another. The sun was just bright enough to turn the fading fields and yellow marshes golden. I went to the Walker today to reconnect, but the drive alone was enough to leave me artistically refreshed.

Then I got home and discovered that the WI Marriage Ban passed. No gay marriages or civil unions here.
