Ok, you know how much Kids These Days like taking goofy pictures of themselves and their buddies with their cell phones? anyone thought of letting them email in those pictures and running them as a border along otherwise-dull pages, like the ads or the index? I'm considering it (for next year) but I don't know if it'll cause more problems than it's

I think it's a good idea that will help with coverage issues.

we put pictures in our index this year and people actually look at the index. it's great. haha

if the pictures aren't appropriate- just don't use them.

No, it generalizes the book too much then. Plus the quality of the photos would be poor and you'd be lacking captions due to space issues. And you'd have to carefully monitor how many times a person appears within the yearbook. Then you have more people to add to the index - that is IF your index is for the purpose of letting people see who is on what page. And it could possibly make the staff lazy by not having to go out and capture as many moments because random people who aren't even part of the staff are mailing in photos that more time would be consumed to go through the photo entries. BUT an option would be to make a spread or two dedicated solely to phone camera photos. But remember that quality poses a problem.
