Walk in a national park

Dec 02, 2007 22:06

Today members of the Association Kerry, including me, visited Seitseminen National Park. It situated at about 80 km to the north of Tampere and composed mostly of coniferous trees.

We were quite an international group: four Finns, four French women, two Germans, one Spaniard, and me.

We walked 19 km in the snow-clad forest. The snow was only a few centimeters deep, so walking was not difficult, with the exeption of slippery wooden paths laid in some places.

During the walk we made two stops: in a cosy cafe and in the forest by the fire. The day was short, and the remaining way we made in almost complete darkness.

I've seen marvellous landscapes, breathed lots of oxygen, and had plenty of exercise for my feet. That was a good change of my routine.
