Долой карательную психиатрию! Down with punitive psychiatry! (перевод на англ.)
A Russian court is trying to lock Yulia Privedennaya (on the photo) in a psychiatry hospital, though she is completely sane. Yulia is a leader of the PORTOS association, whose members discuss ways to create happiness, study mathematics and esperanto, watch and discuss films, etc. I visited the association's meetings in summer 2009. See my translation of the association's statement on Yulia's case below, under the photo.
Сегодня, 18 ноября в Мособлсуде в слушании по делу Юлии Приведенной http://www.fakel-portos.ru/jp.php явилась и была допрошена эксперт института им. Сербского Ахмерова. Она участвовала в комиссии, проводившей амбулаторную судебно-психиатрическую экспертизу Юлии.
В той самой комиссии, которая так и не стала отвечать на поставленные перед ней вопросы о вменяемости Юлии, а предложила провести еще и стационарную экспертизу. То есть запереть неосужденного человека на месяц в психстационар. При этом «комиссия» основывала своё заключение на материалах всего «дела», которые до сих пор не исследовались в суде, потому что не имеют никакого отношения к Приведенной.
Сегодня Ахмерова подтвердила в суде эти свои выводы. Опять прозвучали знакомые фразы про «бредовые идеи преобразования общества» и «внушаемость» Юлии. Также этим «экспертам» и судье Вьюнову показалась подозрительной Формула Справедливости, которую Юлия изобразила в одном из тестов. Видимо, в ней они и усмотрели главный состав преступления.
Прокурор Федоров заявил ходатайство о назначении Юлии Приведенной комплексной стационарной судебной психолого-психиатрической экспертизы в том же институте им. Сербского.
Завтра в 11-00 судья Вьюнов огласит постановление по заявленному ходатайству.

Today, 18 November, in the hearing of Yulia Privedennaya’s case http://www.fakel-portos.ru/jp.php, the Moscow Region Court has interrogated an expert of the Serbsky Institute Ms. Akhmerova. She participated in the commission, which conducted an out-patient forensic psychiatric examination of Yulia.
It was the very same commission, which never answered the raised questions about Yulia’s sanity, but proposed to conduct also an in-patient examination. In other words, to lock an unconvicted person for a month in a psychiatry hospital.
Therewith, the “commission” based its conclusion on the materials of the whole “case”, which so far has not been examined by a court, because they have no relation to Privedennaya.
Today Akhmerova has confirmed this conclusion in the court. Again we could hear the familiar phrases about “delusionary ideas on the transformation of society” and Yulia’s “suggestibility”. Also the Formula of Justice, which Yulia depicted in one of the tests, looked suspicious to the “experts” and judge Vyunov. Apparently, they perceived in it the main body of the crime.
Public prosecutor Fedorov has requested that Yulia Privedennaya should be submitted to a comprehensive in-patient forensic psychiatric examination in the same Serbsky Institute.
Tomorrow at 11 a.m. judge Vyunov will announce the ruling on the said request.
