С четверга по субботу у меня были три перевода (об изменении климата, приватизации и образовании). Кормили нас в разных районах Мальмё, а ночевать я ездил в город Лунд.
I've had limited access to a computer, so I summarise what I did from Thursday to Sunday.
I interpreted on Thursday (Climate change), Friday (Privatisation) and Saturday (Education). On Saturday I also interpreted at a party at the ABF.
I did no more interpretation from a booth, because there were either no booths in the meeting halls or the booths did not work.
In the spare time I usually took walks in the direction of the old town or to the main library.
Also for the meals it was necessary to go to different parts of the city: breakfasts were held in Forkets Park (Moriskan), but for lunches and dinners we went to Leonardo, Amiralen, Komvux and other places. In this way, as another Russian interpreter
demfront justly
observed, we were able to learn the geography of the city.
For the night I commuted to Lund. I slept in a student room, which was offered to accommodate an ESF participant. The student who normally lives there, Farida, speaks a fluent Russian (her father is Afghan and mother Polish). She offered me her room for almost a week, and herself she stayed with her boyfriend in Malmö.
