Сегодня прошел собеседование на работу в одной уборочной компании. Кажется, удачно.
I had a long job interview at a cleaning company. First I filled in their form in English and wrote, as I think, a convincing text why I want to work as a cleaner and about my work experience in this area.
Then I spoke with the interviewer - half the time in Finnish, and then, when I already felt squeezed like a lemon and starting to lose concentration, in English. I think the interviewer was satisfied with my Finnish language and motivation.
Today I also got the certificate from the University that I will be a student for the next year, so I think there will be no problem with the permit in the police.
In the evening I met Grant and that was our last meeting. We talked about American secondary education (often it is not good, and Grant was taught a few years at home by his dad) and differences between Finland and America, such as cars and houses.
UPD: The police also want a list of credits and many other things...
