A/N: was listening to music the whole weekend and I finally decided to write drabbles or one-shots inspired by the songs. Hopefuly they work out.
Here is the first one inspired by the song “A place in this world” By Taylor Swift.
I chose this song basically because I think everyone want to know where they are exactly and we all want to get somewhere. I’m sure GDYB have these feelings too sometimes

Jiyong sat on the ledge of his veranda, scribing on his notepad as soon as lines comes to his mind. He stares at his notes. I was full but somehow it felt empty for him. He looks at the horizon, it was almost sunset he saw the cloud looking almost orange like. He took at deep breath and let himself relax to the tranquility of the view.
He was reminded of something that had been bothering him for some time now. What exactly did he want? Where was he going? What was he really supposed to be in this world?
He had always had big dreams big ambitions. Now options are open left and right for him. But which one? He had come so far from that 8 year old boy who dreamed of becoming famous and a good musician , but still the question was still the same he felt like he was back to square back. What does he really want?
His head hanged low. He started scribbling notes that he had already scribbled down when he was 12 years old. Same thought but different lines. The thought and feelings he had when he was starting as a trainee at some artist company where he felt everyone was his rival. The feeling he carried with him on his first few months at YG and the first few months when he had met Young Bae.
I don't know what I want, so don't ask me
Cause I'm still trying to figure it out
Don't know what's down this road, I'm just walking
Trying to see through the rain coming down
I'm alone, on my own, and that's all I know
I'll be strong, I'll be wrong, but life goes on
I'm just trying to find a place in
This world
He read the lines again. He never thought that feeling would come back again. He had found his home and his dreams when he came to YG Ent. He had forgotten about rivalry and his love for music was made stronger when he met Young Bae. YG gave him all the resources he needed to make music while Young Bae on the other hand gave him all the reasons to keep on moving forward and making music.
But for the past weeks he had been having conflicts. The other offers from abroad companies the possibilities are what he had always dreamed of. But then those dreams come at a price he would have to leave his home, YG Ent. And his love Young Bae behind.
He was so close to finally reaching the final steps of his childhood dream... He finally had it within an arm reach all he has to do was to grab it.
Young Bae stood glued to the living room. He could clearly see Jiyong from his position. He wanted to spend time with Jiyong today. But Jiyong had same distant look he had for past weeks.
Young Bae tried to calm his raging heart. He knows Jiyong has lots to think about. He had been giving him space.
He sighs as he continues to watch Jiyong from afar. Jiyong had been going and going farther away from him. He missed the old times when it as just them hanging out not really worrying about anything else except their dreams.
Young Bae was used to being alone before Jiyong came into his life. He had only himself to think about but now Jiyong was here with him but for some reason he feels as if he would drift far away soon.
Young Bae had always worried about where exactly does he fit in. His music his style where is it exactly. Which is he really made more? The international market or Korean market?
As Young Bae kept his eyes Jiyong he could help but think about his own situation.
Could you tell me what more do I need
And tomorrow's just a mystery, oh yeah
But that's ok
I'm alone, on my own, and that's all I know
I'll be strong, I'll be wrong, but life goes on
I'm just trying to find a place in

Maybe I'm just a guy on a mission
But I'm ready to fly
Young Bae smiled, Jiyong had completed his life and gave meaning to the kind of music he made. He loved Jiyong and will continue to love him no matter what choice the other would make. If Jiyong decided to accept the offers Young Bae knew he would be able to keep up with him. But Young Bae also knows he wont allow Jiyong himself to hold Jiyong back from his dreams.
Young Bae walked slowly towards Jiyong his smiles slowly turning into sadness. If it comes to it he would make the decision for Jiyong. He would let go…
Young bae hugs Jiyong from behind.
Jiyong doesn’t even feel surprised he was familiar with that warmth; he knew it was Young Bae. He openly accepts the hug and continuous to stare off into the sunset.
“I’ve been thinking” Jiyong starts off.
“About what?” Young Bae asks even though he already know what it was about.
“About where I am really supposed to be, About what I am supposed to do” Jiyong answers playing with Young bae’s finger.
Young Bae tightens his grip on Jiyong.
“I’ve always wondered about that you know” Jiyong starts again.
“I have too” Young Bae silently answers
Jiyong looks at Young Bae. “Did you find your answer?” Jiyong asks.
Young Bae smiles at him. “Yes, I already know.”
“ The offer it is so good you know, A chance in a life time that I might never get again” Jiyong tells Young Bae smiling.
Young Bae nods urging Jiyong to continue.
“I can finally have mu place in this world.” Jiyong continued.
“Go for it” Young Bae whispered.
“ no” Jiyong sternly answers
Young Bae was started by the answer.
“Yes, the offer will be my step to my life long dream, to reach the place I have always wanted to be in. But I already found my place in the world too” Jiyong said.
“What? Why?” Young Bae asked again still not believing what he was hearing.
“I already found my place in world, A place that only I can have, a place that I know is meant for me no matter what mistakes I do or what choice I make I the future” Jiyong confidently answers.
“With you. My place in this world is with you Young Bae, sure YG isn’t the perfect company for us right now, but I’m sure we can work it out” Jiyong says wrapping his arms around Young Bae’s neck.
“ I love you Jiyong, I will always love you” Young Bae tells Jiyong as tears of happiness drops from his eyes.
“I love you too, thank you for staying with me.” Jiyong replies and cuddles with Young Bae as they watch the sun completely set.
“bae,” Jiyong calls out.
“hmmm” Young Bae replies looking off into the clouds waiting for the starts to appear.
“what If I said yes to the offer?” Jiyong asks out of curiosity
“ I already found my place in the world Jiyong, It is beside you, where ever you are I will be there I would have let go of my career here in Yg or anywhere else just to be with you” Young Bae answers..
