I'm So Over Them
So, I just started watching Angel, and I definitely like it more than Buffy, at least the fourth season of Buffy which I can't even really get into at all. I just finished watching 1x08, "I Will Remember You," and maybe it's my undying love for Cordy/Charmisa and therefore love for Cordy/Angel, but I'm so over Buffy and Angel.
I just find Buffy to not be as likeable as she was to me in the first 3 seasons, especially the second. *shrugs* I kinda feel bad about not liking them cuz they're so epic and one of my friends, whom I started watching both shows for basically, is a HUGE Buffy/Angel shipper but I'm so over them. I liked them, in the beginning, but the constant angst, the lack of resolution one way or another, the unrequited love is just a bit much for me. I guess that sometimes they resemble a lame high school relationship to me. I'm not bashing them, I just don't like them. However, I can appreciate what they've been through and their characters, but I think I'm just a girl who loves Angel more than Buffy. I don't know. I can't make sense of how I feel, but I know that just watching 1x08 left me all blah and *rolls eyes* which is not a good thing, haha.
Whatever. I'm looking forward to the rest of the eps of Angel! I LOVE THEM! Cordy/Doyle are sooooo cute. I love the friendship between Cordy/Angel. &hearts&hearts&hearts I'm insanely psyched to get to the eps where they're sort of together. I just know they're together, but I haven't exactly been spoiled about their relationship. I know Cordy gets visions and is a half demon and that she dies (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *cries*) in season 5, but I think there's some good moments to look forward to. I've always shipped Cordy/Angel, thanks to early morning glimpses of AtS, so hopefully I'll still ship them.
Now to watch 1x09. *woot* Oh and catch up on the eps of Buffy S4 that I haven't watched, which would be about 5 eps behind Angel.
