Writer's Block: Listen to This
So to make a comeback to LJ, I decided to answer the Writer's Block question. This is what I would suggest:
- Evanescence. I think they have a nice mix of rock and ballad type songs. My favorite song of theirs would probably have to be Like You from their The Open Door album
- Within Temptation. Sort of the same as Evanescence, although I'd say they're more like Nightwish. Their songs are truly epic. I'm in love with them and they utilize some instruments that one wouldn't normally think of like in the song Mother Earth from their Mother Earth album.
- Franz Ferdinand. If you're looking for some fun dance music then they're it. You just can't help but sing along and dance along to their music. Love them.
- Snow Patrol. What more is there to say really? They just pwn in terms of Brit bands.
- And if I mention Snow Patrol then I have to throw Coldplay in there too because their piano pieces are just brilliant.
