I want to ask real quick my AtS friends if it's worth my time to finish S5. I've only watched the first 7 or so eps and, of course, "You're Welcome" and I'm just wondering if I should continue on and finish off the rest of the season and series. I don't particularly feel like it, but I wouldn't really feel accomplished if I didn't. So, should I just stop my watch of S5 now and watch the finale and that's it or should I continue on and make my way through the rest of S5?

It's a bit of a surprise to me that I didn't get into Jane Austen earlier than just this past year. I remember in high school being assigned a reading list and having to read a couple of the books from it, not all of them, and P&P being on it. And I consciously remember choosing to read "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote instead of P&P and how annoyed I was with all the girls being gaga for this book (and I don't regret for one second reading "In Cold Blood" instead). Obviously, my younger self didn't understand the awesomeness of it. But I do now, and actually I'm happier for having read it at this age, rather than younger, because I don't think my younger self would have gotten the humor of it or the brilliancy of it.
But, anyways, I got the chance to read the book, for fun, and then I watched this mini-series and was in total love. It is by far the best adaptation of a Jane Austen book, and the best P&P one, IMO. It is perfect. I marathoned the entire mini-series one weekend, when I should've been studying and doing homework. It was impossible not to watch. Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle just bring the book to life for me, they bring the best and the worst of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth in such a complex way that it's impossible not to love these characters and the journey they go on by themselves and together. I'm just in love with it. And now I feel like busting it out and marathoning it again. I kinda need something to make me feel better, so that just might be it. Hmm.
Anyways, there you have it. "Pride & Prejudice" (1995 BBC mini-series).
