As requested by my mother: An update.

But first!

Ah ha ha ha.

So... life. It's chugging right along. Almost done with school! Holler.

Rach and I went to Sonic for lunch today. It was fabulous. We even saw Sheffield, Mrs. Cozad, and Officer Barfoot on our trip. That was exciting!

Anyway... I saw "Movin' Out" the other day.

I went expecting a normal musical. You know... with people singing. And talking. Looking at the cast bios before the show threw me off, though.... they were all ballerinas. "Well that's curious," I thought, "The must be giving musicals a try. All of them."

They also switched out the cast every nights. Also strange.

But it all came together for me by the end of act two, when I realized..... no one on stage was ever going to talk.

It was a ballet.

To Billy Joel.

Here was what ran through my head during act one:

"What the crap?

.... What.....?

What the crap?!

I don't think that guy likes girls....

.... WHAT?!"

But despite it all, I cried, I came close to laughing, and in the end, I really enjoyed that show. Really. It was different, but still good.

I made a cake for Mrs. Kizer today. It was her birthday over the weekend, so I made her a yummy looking dark chocolate cake with fudge icing. I hope she likes it. It looks really good! I even stuck little midnight milky ways in the top layer!

Some would call this sucking up.

I call it thanking her for somehow working with me till I got an 80 six week average after failing every test.

EVERY test.

I'm working on two new songs in voice lessons. "My Man" and "Stormy Weather." They're torch songs, which means that they're usually sung by women working part time in lounges, wearing red sequined dresses, laying across pianos, with dreams of one day making it big.

They're a lot of fun to sing.

I had a really cool Bible study last night. Our junior pastor came to talk to us because we had so many questions from last time. It was really, really cool. He's an incredibly smart man.

.....Incredibly smart.

Final performance of Romeo and Juliet is on Thursday at 7:30. Everyone, everyone, everyone should come see it. Seriously. Bring everyone you know.

Except... most of the people who read this are in it. Hm.

Well... I hope a ton of people come.

In other news, I have a crush on someone, and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I haven't had a crush on anyone in such a long time!

But... it's sort of really complicated, so it's pretty much entirely wishful thinking.

Alas. Such is the game of life, no?

But it's been fun. Being all giggly and stuff. Ah, love.

Not that I'm in love.

I'm not.

.....

End scene.

This post is loonnnnnnnnngggggggg. As long as psychology! (Bu dum bing!) I hate that class like a Montague hates a Capulet.

The puppies are getting bigger. We suspect that Mr. Sheffield made up their family background. Pomeranian? I think not. They're too huge.

No school on Friday.

Just work.

Well, this overly long, stream of consciousness post will now end.

I have to do a current event.

See you all later!

You're fabulous!
