go to europe

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
i don't believe in new year's resolutions?

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
i hope not, because i don't remember it

4. Did anyone close to you die?
no.

5. What countries did you visit?
haha. england, scotland, ireland, sweden, belgium, france, germany, austria, czech republic, and greece.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
a work ethic

7. What date(s) from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I'm not very good at dates.
Memorable events?
Athens. My birthday in Paris. The night of Unchained at Harlaxton. My $160 cab ride across London. The run of Ragtime. Re-entering the music building in August. Urinetown. A few specific evenings throughout the semester, including Pirate Porn night, that one night with Mrs. Louer, Bitches and Hos.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Becoming my own person. Realizing what my goals are.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not going to class =).

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing out of the ordinary?

11. What was the best thing you bought?
MACBOOK.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Katie Neal. Paul. Denise. Richard. Amy and Kyle. Harrison. Everyone's but mine?

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
haha can I say Patrick just to piss him off?

14. Where did most of your money go?
Europe.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Monks. Ragtime. Crashing theater parties?

16. What song(s) will always remind you of 2006?
Hide and Seek. Desperado.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? I don't know, but I'm happy.
ii. thinner or fatter? Approximately the same.
iii. richer or poorer? Poorer. Or at least I feel poorer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Homework before it was due.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Letting myself get depressed about absolutely nothing.

20. How did you spend Christmas?
Wisconsin/Minnesota. Too much family. Hiding out in other rooms to make phone calls =).

21. Did you fall in love in 2006?
Not yet?

22. How many one-night stands?
Gosh, there's actually an answer to this question!

23. What was your favorite TV program?
In England? That wierd dating channel. This summer? C-Span. I'm a dork. Now? I mostly watch the food network because it's on when I get home.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nope

25. What was the best book you read?
The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Soooo many I can't even start as far as bands go. Personally, that I can sometimes enjoy practicing and I do actually know what I'm doing.

27. What did you want and get?
Fun and lots of it.

28. What did you want and not get?
A plan for what's going to happen after May 12th.

29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Everything is Illminated. V for Vendetta. The Holiday.

30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 21 drinking champagne in the rain under the Eiffel Tower.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Being better at balancing my life, especially in the first half of fall semester.

32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Much Improved.

33. What kept you sane?
Music. Coffee with Katie Neal. Riding my bicycle.

34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Fancy? Who says that?

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Minimum Wage. Iraq.

36. Who did you miss?
Katie Neal. Katie, Tim and Bobby. Peter in a weird way. Richard. The monks.

37. Who was the best new person you met?
Paul. Denise. Amy. Kyle. Robyn. SallyCade. Vichet. Harrison. Taylor. Richelle. Ray. I made a lot of friends.
