Home at last
I'm home from UCLA! What a wonderful experience I had over the course of six weeks. I met some truly amazing people that helped me learn things about myself-- along with all the acting stuff. That sounds so cheesy but it's true. I miss them already. Hopefully I will get to see them again. Some live closer than others... so some I may never see.
I can't think of a better way I could have spent 2/3 of my summer. If I had stayed home I would have sat on my butt most of the days. Don't get me wrong, I missed all my San Diego friends. I <3 you guys. But, I've grown a lot. I got over my fears of public speaking in general. No more butterflies when I have to share my own thoughts. It's so great. And I'm actually good at interviews now. I know how to prepare myself. I'm super excited to tryout for school plays... and for some outside of school. I'm better at organizing my time and I am definitely more independent.
It's odd because my room and bathroom seem so huge after living at the dorms for three solid weeks. And my bed is so different. I had trouble falling asleep last night lol.
I really want to see everyone here. We should get together. I missed you guys so much :D. <3
