Not as many as I thought
So I am again in the Frankfurt airport. I arrived here at around 6:50am local time. Im here until 10:00pm tonight.
I was going to stay on the computer all day but they were all full until now.
I will now recap the past week starting with today.
RECAP
Saturday Frankfurt
I arrived in the early morning, even though it was 7:00am I decided I need lunch (apparently I slept through breakfest on the plane). I went to McDonalds and waited in the hugely long line. I was entertained though by soime awsome Rasta man dancing to the elevator music while he waited (dancing reggea style though semi-jumping) so I being me decided to join him. That passed the time.
Germany definately has beter McDonaldses. Although they lack a huge menu they have the best McNuggets Sauces, I got Chili but they also had Jalepeno and Curry. Yeah. After eating and reading my USA Today, Miami Herald, Time(USA version), and Newsweek(both USA and EU versions) it was 10:00am. I then proceded to a "relaxation area" where I slept till 4:00pm. Then from 4:00 till now I was watching CNN International, apparently there is a Russian Sub stuck 200m below sea level and a plane crash landed north of Palermo Italy in the Sea. So thats today.
Friday Florida
Yesterday I had flights from Tampa to Miami, and from Miami to Frankfurt. So I woke up and Early and went to Target and a Boating store(last minute errands) then went to the airport for my 11:20am(EST) flight. I slpet for the 45mins of my flight and then bought reading material(listed Saturday) at the airport. I then wited patiently for my Frankfurt flight and posted on LJ. So Yestreday was mostly flights.
Thursday Tampa, Fl
On Thurday the family and I went to Adventure Island, a water park, that was fun except for the crazy lines for everything. But I did have a churro(similar to fried dough except crispier and shaped in a stick about 1 1/2 inches wide and 16 inches long, and covered in cinamon and sugar) which was great. We then proceded to drop me of at my Uncle Moes(real name Mohammed) he was my dads cousin but was like a brother to him(my dad didnt have a brother till he was 18). I stayed at one of his resteraunts(Pita's Republic, he has 6, they make Gyros) So I had Lunch and then we went for dinner. We played 1 round of laser tag though before continuing to dinner at an Italian resteraunt. He then took me to where my fam was going to pick me up. Formerly a Hardy's(fast food) that weould be the pick up spot for my Grandma to take me on weekends. I got turned into a Strabucks(I read in one of my uncle's magazines Starbucks opened of 986 new cafes in the past year). And so the day eneded.
Wednsday Tampa, Fl
On Wednsday I spent most of the day at Busch Gardens(owned by the Budweiser company as is Adventure Island and Sea World) with my ex-stepdad and my brother. Busch gardens is the theme park of my child hood, I used to have Season passes when I lived in Florida. At night I had dinner with my Stepdads brother, sister-inlaw, and mother. It was good to see them all again and have a nice dinner with them (I was spending the night at my step-grandmas Tuesday and Wednsday night). After dinner we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a second time for me. It is the best film ever recorded by video photographhy. So that was Wednsday.
Tuesday Clearwater,Fl
The majority of Tuesday was my Grandmothers funeral and wake. I was a pall bearer which was something I felt I needed to do. The wake was great, especcially the food. I had my first ever Maragarita(Virgen). It was good. After the wake I went swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, the water was so warm; it was warmer than the air. I caught a couple sand dollars and was holding one for like an hour before i realized my hands were yellow. Apparently thier defence mechanism is to pea on you, and apparantley the pea stains, at least for a while.
Monday Clearwater,Fl
All of Monday was the viewing of my grandma. It was good to have some closeur with her. Thats all that happened that day. Closeur. I word with two sylables but hits you harder than others.
Sunday All over
Sunday I arived in Tampa and was tired so I slept. Other stuff happened but I don't really remember much of it. Except Kinko's
where we copied like 50 pictures of my grandmother when she was younger; I like looking through pictures.
