A Band that Battles?!... With me? O_O
So today. I got yelled at by some dude named Mark Rivas. Because his COVER BAND didn't make it into Battle of the Bands. -______- He was causing such a scene afterschool when I passed by him in the AP line. At first I thought he was joking because he didn't seem like that kind of guy, but as he KEPT yelling at me and cutting off my answers, I seriously got pissed. No one has the right to disrespect me in this way, especially if I'm trying to explain that (1) you're not the only one who got cut. (2) Come on, if you're mediocre cover band (okay you probably think you're the sh*t but whatever), going up against 17 other bands with original compositions, who is going to look more impressive? Yelling at me & cutting me off only proves that we made a GOOD decision in not letting your band in. What made me sad is that he totally made his band look like horrible angry people, when I know most of the other members of his band and they're actually pretty nice. Stop asking me to explain "WHAT MADE THE OTHER BAND BETTER THAN OURS HUH?!" if you're not even going to listen to my answers, and to me trying to say that I'm sorry but we had a lot of good bands try out, and THEN try to seek out the chairs who actually had the final say in order to yell at them? Hello, you've crossed the line of reason a looong time ago, and I'm not going to waste my time talking to you. I'm not going to let you yell at my babies who are working so damn hard to put this product together in order three weeks, especially for such a stupid reason. I never thought he was that kind of person, but I totally thought wrong.
The worst part was finding out that he had earlier yelled at my teacher/advisor. You already were really rude to me, but to YELL AT A TEACHER, someone who's older than you and helped you out?! Especially for something she had no part/decision in? All I can say is that you're one f*cked up dude. -___-
Sorry for that rant but it just shocked me.
In other news my afterschool time turned out surprisingly fun. I thought I was just going to watch Carrie and Natalie and stuff practice badminton but co-ed hip hop ended up practicing in the gym too. Eddie is REALLY weird and tried to pretend he was all shy... but like... a shy cat. O___O So Kathleen freaked out because she only saw a curtain moving. Then whenever they had breaks some kept playing badminton. And then Eddie and Alec were wrestling in a somewhat awkward position, and somehow all these dance kids got involved by hanging onto people or being hung on to by Alec or Eddie, and with other dance kids trying to pull them out of the way, so you just saw this train of moving people. XD With some people massaging each other in the back. Interesting... And even badminton was pretty funny. Carrie and James (who are going to Sadies together as of today... more on that later), kept "accidentally" hitting each other with birdies. CUTE! :D<3
Oh and Kevin is going to put an airgram from me to Katrina at their all male/dance-drill competition tomorrow, before her small dance routine, for her birthday. YAY THANK YOU!<3
So Carrie asked James to Sadies today. And me and Annie being small, we each got to be in box, one of which he had to "choose". Unfortunately he knew Carrie was too big/tall to fit in either so he decided to push both of us over... hard. -_- So hard that the boxes broke immediately and we tumbled out. Sooo, we immediately threw out signs at him and ran away "crying" XD It was so embarrasing because there ended up being this HUGE circle of people all around us, partly because a lot of people had to pay for AP tests nearby. I hope my crack wasn't showing.
Don't remember what else happened today, but sorry for the long entry. :P Gotta get up early tomorrow to help at Cameron Elementary, their GATE program, and get donuts for Jimmy/pick him up. D: Wooo! I'm going to comment on everyone's entries tomorrow morning.<3 Thank GOODNESS the weekend's here!
