TAMPA BAY ALLSTAR CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS!

www.tampacheerandtumble.com

The purpose of our evaluation/tryout process is to select the best representatives for Tampa Bay Allstars on every level. At Tampa Bay Allstars, we conduct a program dedicated to all levels of athletic ability, not just the elite level athlete. We always look for individuals with the ability to learn and progress as well as a positive attitude. We have teams for ages 5 through 18, and all ability levels. We would love for you to become a part of our family for the 2005-2006 season.

Our goal is to place athletes on teams that give our organization the best possible chance for success in their respective divisions. This means that we are not necessarily looking for the 35 best tumblers, jumpers, or stunters, for a particular team. We need an approximate mix of all skills and even body types (flyer/base/spot) on each team to create teams with the best chance for success.

Our coaching staff will use the technical portion of the evaluation to help determine the best all around teams. During this time, students will be evaluated on their current skill level and placed on an appropriate team. Tampa Bay Allstar teams are organized so that cheerleaders may sometimes move from one squad to another during the season based on individual development, ability, maturity, and dedication.

The evaluation/tryout process will take place from May 2 - 12. Please refer to the specific day & time (based on cheerleaders Aug. 2005 grade level) listed below for your child’s evaluation/tryout time. Individual team rosters will be posted at the gym on Sunday, May 12, 2005 and there will be an informational parent meeting for teams at the beginning of your first night of practice.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Gary Jimenez, Cheerleading Director at 884-8449 or email to TampaBoss@aol.com
