Enough with that damn song already! I do love that commercial though!
So it’s been like more than a month since I updated. I am a slacker. Not really. I’ve just been damn busy and I have yet to set up internet access at the “new crib.” Remind me never to say that again. THANKS. There was a point where I was working 40 hours at my regular job and almost 20 at B&N. I had to limit their actions because it was right around when we were moving and it was way too much. Speaking of moving, I think it was probably the most fun I ever had moving. No, I’m not on crack. I know that usually words like, “moving” and “fun” don’t belong in the same sentence. We had lots of help from lots of people. I love Cara especially...she’s the best girl ever!
So now we live in a cute little mobile home. It’s not bad at all, and the price is great! It will be nice to have money again. We’re already taking advantage of that fact. We shop like every day. I love shopping. As materialistic as it makes me sound, there’s just something about getting new stuff that is more satisfying than a lot of things.
Thanks to Morgain, we now refer to “Scout,” as “SCOTT.” It really it funny. I think I’m going to make it my goal in life to get animals and name them lame names like Todd and Lorraine. Maybe Gil too.
Sar and I are very excited about tonight. I really like brisket. I don’t have the relationship that everyone else seems to have with MEAT (it always seems to be capitalized!), but it should be a fun time.
I have that icky feeling I had way back in December 2002. The only way I can really describe it is as dread. I don’t like it, but this time I’m gonna take the “fuck it” approach. I don’t like how much it messed up my life last time, so I’m not going to let it this time. WHAT A CONCEPT. I guess I have learned something.
In other news, I guess I’m I’m lucky in the fact that I hardly put any effort into any kind of “relationship” anymore, so I don’t have as much to lose. That’s what I’m talking about, B. I should swear off boys/men. They just complicate my life. This has got to be my favorite line of all times, “i just wish all women were as uncomplicated as you.” Right.
I guess I’m going to wrap this shit up now and get some work done!
