Show of hands, who here hasn't seen "Happy Feet"? Ok, first of all, you look like a loser raising your hands in front of your computer screen and secondly GO SEE IT. Seriosuly, I was skeptical (and frightened) at first, but it's fantastic!
The plot? Tap dancing peguins. Like..Justin Boccitto..AS A PENGUIN!!
Mike H., Mariel and I have it all firgured out too:
Singing penguins = Catholic church
Leader Spanish penguin = Mike
Spaztic Spanish penguin = me
Scottish penguin = Monsenier Foley
Well, that's all we got so far BUT ANYWAY yeah, it was crazy! They managed to incorporate tap into genres of music I never thought possible! asdklfhlsdak exciting?! YES!
Also, Mariel and I had to use booster seat in the theatre.
It brought back fond memories of Singin' in the Rain, as well....*flashback*
"Step falap falap...Justin, I don't get it, turn around so we can look at you ass--er, learn the moves"
"Jesus made it for the dancers!"
I also for some reason remember this:
"I love Don Lockwood!"
"Y-...you mean MATT?? Cause...he has a REAL NAME you know? Unless you really do love the fictional character, but...that's just weird."
In conclusion: Go see Happy Feet.
*EDIT* I forgot the BEST part of the night. At Cinema 6, they have this new "Turn off your phones" song that has memorable lyrics such as:
