i am a social butterfly.
by my standards at least. :)
tonight i went to a chocolate-themed "unbirthday" party. "unbirthday" because the celebrant's birthday is actually in june, but b/c no one is really here to celebrate in june, some of her buds decided to throw her a surprise unbirthday party. and since it was flippin chocolate themed and in my building, i had no excuse not to attend. so i attended, and actually stayed longer than expected. people were actually surprised and happy that i stayed for so long! i was having fun talking to people and there was so much chocolate - yummy! so yes, perhaps that is not being too social based on other people's standards, but to me, that is being social. :)
also, yesterday, i received a package! swimgirl sent me a present, presents really! a skirt, two pairs of cool socks, and season 8 of m*a*s*h!!! which is totally awesome, b/c i only have 2 more season 7 episodes! whoohoo! and i was actually here to get the package - whoohoo even more! today i wore my new skirt! i felt very hip, very hip indeed.
re: my very important callback interview. it's been a week exactly today, and i haven't heard back yet. i've been quite on edge for the past week, and i'm really hoping and praying to hear good news soon. thanks to all who sent me luck last week - i really appreciate it.
