ha! i am either way ahead of the times, or the poor folk at urban outfitters have at last exhausted ever other idea for footwear ever. dear reader, i bought a pair of white ankle boots remarkably similar to these at the thrift store in january. i have only worn them once, and i have never been confident enough to wear them again. but you just watch! i'm sure they'll start selling them at payless and old navy any day now and anorexic, over-tanned 13-year-olds with no sense of style around the globe will start donning them daily. god, the world of fashion is such a confusing thing. also, i love payless and old navy to death, i wasn't actually criticizing them.
also, in completely unrelated news, a woman who works in my department at graham's was mugged today. in front of graham's. four feet away from the front door. at 8:00 in the morning! in broad daylight! on fucking COOPER, of all places! i hate memphis. fuck!
