(no subject)
i didn't really sleep or leave the house over the weekend, the weather wasn't so great and i had to write a paper. but i finished the paper, breathed easily and it was good. yesterday the sun came OUT. when i came back from campus it was too nice to not be outside. it seems like everybody in my neighborhood felt the same way. nate and i read out front, he broke out the elderberry meade, my next-door neighbors broke out the slip and slide and squirt guns. swear its been like...........................8 years since i slipped and slid. drinking in the front yard its becoming a habit, i dont know how society feels about that.
today i picked up a camera. like riding a bike or slipping back into one's skin it's just simple and correct. why don't i have a camera in my hand all the time? al asked for help with the dreaded 4x5 so we headed to the samoa jetty to shoot a tree. this tree was surrounded by a veritable field of dune succulents, walking across them was like walking on fruit it was straight up crazy.
